American Showa is a U.S. subsidiary of Showa Corporation. The company is run jointly by American and Japanese management. Mr. Toshiaki Shimazawa joined ASI as President in April 2017.
Centrally located in the Midwest, American Showa develops and manufactures suspension systems for motorcycles, shock absorbers and power steering systems and power-train pumps for automobiles.American Showa is a supplier for function products to OEMs in North and Central America. The company also develops the center drive shaft for AWD as well as provides race support mainly for motocross.
Our goal is to maintain our customers trust and to continue to strengthen our relationships into the future. To achieve this goal, we propose to provide products and services that can only be attained by us which meet customers requests and expectations. This goal is shared not only with management, but also with all levels of associates throughout the organization.
