American Showa, Inc. is a U.S. company and is owned as a joint venture between SHOWA Corporation, located in Japan and American Honda Motor Company, Inc. which is headquartered in Gardena, California.  SHOWA is managerially, technologically, and financially involved in this joint venture, while American Honda is financially involved.
